Some years ago I posted my story 'Hair Apparent' on this blog. Well, only half the story was posted for reasons that are obscure to me today. I never got around to posting the concluding part even though it was well ready and had been for nearly eight years.
The problem I have now is that the second half has gone missing.
I hope not to have to rewrite it since that part introduces the story's heavy Donald J. Trump. Mind you that was in 2003 and since his election we know so much more about him that I fear this newfound knowledge will pollute the original verve of the story.
In the meantime while I search frantically for the lost scroll I will say that even though the original story ended on a bleak note for our protagonist all is not lost.
